Test: Tesoro Durandal Ultimate keyboard

Konklusion

Alt i alt har det været et godt tastatur at have til test. Det har fungeret upåklageligt. Et eller andet sted har det nærmest været befriende at få et lidt forsimplet tastatur til test, og kan da godt mærke man måske mangler det lidt i dagligdagen. Med dette tastatur sætter man sig bare og spiller, uden at skulle opsætte 1 million forskellige ting først, og det virker bare.

Innovation / Teknologi - 4
Der er ikke så forfærdeligt meget nyt under solen med dette tastatur, men der er hvad der skal være og hvad man har brug for. De har husket at få lidt ekstra fine ting med som headset/mikrofon stik øverst på tastaturet samt 2xUSB porte også.

Bundel / Tilbehør - 3
Helt i trend med selve tastaturet, er det også her meget minimalt hvad man får med. Der er dog alt hvad man skal bruge for at komme i gang med det samme, og man skal ikke ind på nettet og hente software for at komme i gang.

Design / Layout - 4
Jeg synes de har fået lavet et rigtigt pænt tastatur med deres efterligning af børstet aluminium. De har beklædt hjørnerne af tastaturet med en smule ekstra plastik der skal ligne stål,  og passer rigtigt fint til det de gerne vil vise. Alt i alt et pænt tastatur hvor alt det overflødige diller daller er blevet fjernet.

Software - 4
Den er nemt at sætte op og få til at virke med det samme. Der er ikke tykke manualer der skal læses igennem inden man kan begive sig ud i at programmere sine egne macro´er. Eneste minus man måske kan sætte på softwaren er at skriften godt kan virke en smuld gnidret at se på.

Ydelse - 4
Jeg mener at tastaturet performer rigtigt godt og præcist. Det er helt sikkert et godt tastatur til de fleste gamere og man vil hurtigt føle sig hjemme på tasterne. Det eneste minus her er larmen, men det følger jo med når det skal være mekanisk.

Pris - 4
Jeg synes prisen er en smule høj og derfor får de 4 her. Det er selvfølgelig en del penge at give for et tastatur, men til gengæld får du også et produkt der bare virker. Der er kun et par små fejl som gør at det trækker lidt ned.

UK summary

All in all it has been a good keyboard to test. It have worked flawless. Somewhere it has been a relief getting a simple keyboard to test, and one can really feel that need in the everyday life. With this keyboard you just sit down and play, without having the trouble of setting up a million different things first, and it just works.

Innovation/Technology - 4
There´s not much new under the sun with this keyboard, but it has what it´s supposed to have and what you need. They have managed to slip in some ekstra fine things like headset/microfone on top of the keyboard and 2 x USB slots also.

Bundle/Accessories - 3
Just like with the trend on the keyboard, it´s also very minimal what you get included. There´s what you need to get started rigth away, and you don´t need to go online to download software to get going.

Design/Layout - 4
I find that they have made a really nice keyboard with their copy of brushed aluminum. They have covered the corners of the keyboard with a bit of ekstra plastic which is supposed to look like steel, and if falls rigth in with what they want to show. All in all a nice keyboard where all the redundant has been removed.

Software - 4
It´s easy to setup and get going rigth away. There´s no thick manuals you need to read, before you can make the journey into programming your own macros. The only thing you can point a finger at on the software,  is that the fond can seem somewhat crappy to look at.

Performance - 4
I think that the keyboard performs really well and precise. It´s definately a good keyboard for most gamers, and you will feel at home on the keys very fast. The only negative here is the noise, but that comes along when it has to be mechanical

Price - 4
I find the price a bit high, which is why they get a grade of 4 here. Offcourse it´s alot of money to pay for a keyboard, but on the other hand you also get a product which just works. There´s a couple of small flaws, which pulls a bit down.
