Test: MSI X299 Gaming M7 ACK

Konklusion

Det var en fornøjelse at have dette bundkort kørende i testperioden. Det levede fuldt ud op til de lovede ting så som høj kvalitet og stabilitet også ved Overclock. Det var også rigtigt sjovt at lege med Mystic Light programmet og gå på opdagelse i de utroligt mange farvemuligheder og lys skift kombinationer. Bundkortet indfriede mine forventninger og så lige lidt til, da ydelsen faktisk var en smule bedre end AORUS X299 bundkortet som jeg testede sidst. Jeg kan ikke finde en eneste dårlig ting at sige om dette bundkort.
 

Innovation/Teknologi -  5
MSI har lagt en hel del arbejde i at optimere dette bundkort så det yder maksimalt. MSI's ingeniører har også formået at skabe både en køleprofil til Chipsættet og M.2 SSD'er i en profil, resultatet er rigtigt nydeligt. Derudover er øjeblikkets nyeste teknologier i form af U.2, USB 3.1 og naturligvis LED lys blevet fint integreret på bundkortet.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 4
Den medfølgende bundle er fuldt ud tilstrækkelig for at få bundkortet i luften. Det er rart at se der er vedlagt nogle stag som brugere der ønsker at fremstille specielle 3D dæksler kan bruge til montagen. Det er også fint med forlænger Y split LED ledningen til eventuelle LED strips.

Design/Layout - 5
Designet er jeg personligt rigtigt glad for da jeg som bekendt elsker sort og Krom som dette bundkort har rigeligt af på mange af soklerne. Jeg er også vild med den måde LED lyset er fordelt på køleprofiler og afdækninger med 2 LED striber på hver, Det giver en god harmoni i lyset.

Software/BIOS - 4
BIOS'en er som vi har set den fra MSI mange gange efterhånden og det bliver den bestemt ikke ringere af. Den er logisk opdelt i seks store felter som man så kan dykke yderligere ned i. Det er også muligt blot at bruge EZ udgaven af BIOS'en. Den medfølgende software er for meget af dets vedkommende lige de ting som vil gøre Gameren rigtigt glad og det er da også et GAMING bundkort, så helt fint med det.

Ydelse - 5
Her kan jeg kun komme med et bravo MSI. Ydelsen på dette X299 GAMING M7 ACK bundkort er umiddelbart helt i top og i de fleste tests er MSI bundkortet lige en tand bedre end f.eks. AORUS bundkortet jeg lige har testet.

Pris - 3
Prisen på de knap 3000 Kr. synes jeg for så vidt er i orden når man summerer alle de lækre optimerede funktioner som MSI virkelig har formået at hive det hele ud af. Så dette bundkort skal have min ubetingede anbefaling.

UK summary

It was a pleasure to have this motherboard running during the test period. It fully lived up to the promised things such as high quality and stability also in the case of overclocking. It was also fun to play with the Mystic Light program and discover the incredibly many color options and light shift combinations. The motherboard fulfilled my expectations and a little bit, as the performance was a bit better than the AORUS X299 motherboard that I tested last. I can not find a single bad thing to say about this motherboard.
 

Innovation/Technology - 5
MSI has done a lot of work in optimizing this motherboard to reach maximum performance. MSI's engineers have also managed to create both a cooling profile for the Chipset and M.2 SSDs in a profile, the result is really beautiful. In addition, the latest technology in the form of U.2, USB 3.1 and of course LED light has been well integrated on the motherboard.

Bundle/Accessories - 4
The included bundle is fully adequate to get the motherboard up and running. It is nice to see that there are some stags for assembly included for the users who wish to manufacture special 3D covers. It's also fine with the included Y split LED extension cord, if you wish to use LED strips.

Design/Layout - 5
I'm personally happy with the design, as I love the black and chrome like this motherboard is abundant on many of the sockets. I also love the way the LED light is distributed on cooling profiles and covers with 2 LED stripes on each. It gives a good harmony in the light.

Software/BIOS - 4
The BIOS is as we have seen it from MSI many times before, and it is definitely not inferior. It is logically divided into six major fields, which you can dive further into. It is also possible to use the EZ version of the BIOS. The included software is when it comes to most of it, just the things that will make the Gamer really happy and since it is a GAMING motherboard, so fine with it.

Performance - 5
Here I can only bring a bravo to MSI. The performance of this X299 GAMING M7 ACK motherboard is immediately on top and in most tests, the MSI motherboard is just a tooth better than etc. the AORUS motherboard I have just tested.

Price - 3
The price of the barely 3000 DKK I think that's all right when summarizing all the deliciously optimized features that MSI has really managed to pull it all out. So This motherboard must have my unconditional recommendation.
