Test: Corsair Hydro H115i PRO RGB

Konklusion

Også denne AIO køler fra Corsair har været en stor fornøjelse at have kørende i testperioden. Corsair H115i køleren er ikke det billigste AIO produkt vi indtil nu har testet, men byggekvaliteten og finishen på kølerens dele er helt perfekt. Softwaren Corsair Link 4 og de nye støjsvage blæsere kan dog godt forsvare den lille merpris i forhold til andre producenter. Især det faktum at køleren er styret af softwaren, og det derfor er muligt at styre både blæsere og pumpe samt det indbyggede LED RGB lys via Corsair Link 4 er helt suverænt.

At man så samtidig med i softwaren får overvågnings mulighed til alle systemets temperatur og hastighedsmålinger er blot en lækker ekstra funktion. Så konklusionen må blive at Corsair H115i RGB køleren er en lækker softwarestyret sag som kan tilfredsstille selv den mest hårdkogte nørd eftersom alt kan styres via software og der samtidig er mere end rigeligt af muligheder for at overvåge hele systemet i realtime.
 

Innovation/Teknologi - 4
Her skal nævnes Corsair's nye SP140L blæsere som er meget lydsvage. Derudover ligner radiator, pumpe og blæsere vel noget vi har set før lige med undtagelse af at der nu er indbygget RGB LED lys i pumpen. Det er selvfølgelig også en lækker sag at man nu sagtens kan være i samme lokale som denne Corsair H115i RGB køler uden at blive blæst omkuld af støjende blæsere selv i Performance mode.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 3
Det er en tilpas tilbehørspakke der følger med denne Corsair H115i RGB Køler. Der er et tilpas antal skruer og dimser med uden at det bliver fuldkommen uoverskueligt og det er rart at se der også er tænkt helt ned i monteringen af køleren.

Design/Layout - 5
Designet kan jeg personligt rigtigt godt lide altså når vi taler om de ydre rammer på både blæsere og pumpe. Det er jo altid en privat sag om man lige er til tidens hotte gimmick nemlig RGB LED lys, jeg synes det ser rigtigt godt ud i et build som også har andre dele med RGB LED lys.

Software/BIOS - 4
Softwaren Corsair Link 4 er en efterhånden velkendt sag indenfor Corsair's AIO'er og det er lykkedes rigtigt godt at integrere RGB LED styringen til pumpen. Softwaren er også temmelig avanceret så man står bestemt ikke og mangler noget overvågning, alt hvad der vedrører AIO'en samt bundkort følere og systemets blæsere overvåges samlet af Corsair Link 4.

Ydelse - 5
Ydelsen er helt i top når der vælges Performance mode og er mere end nok hvis der skal overclockes. Hvis du går mere op i at have en støjsvag computer er balanceret og quiet mode nok mere relevante, og kan faktisk også stadigt klare noget overclocking. Under alle omstændigheder og i alle modes er køleren meget støjsvag.

Pris - 4
Personligt synes jeg at prisen er lidt hen mod den høje ende, når man ser på at Arctic kan levere en lige så effektiv køling godt nok med flere blæsere og med PWM styring til 600 kr.

UK summary

Another AIO cooler from Corsair and it have been a great pleasure to have running in the test period. The Corsair H115i is not the cheapest AIO product we have tested until now, but the built quality and finish on the coolers parts are perfect. The Corsair Link 4 software and the new silent fans do make up for the extra price when comparing to other manufacturers. Especially considering the fact that the cooler is controlled by the software and therefore it is possible to control both fans and pump along with the built-in LED RGB light using the Corsair Link 4 program.

At the same time you also get monitoring options for all the systems temperature and speeds which is a nice extra feature. So the conclusion must be that the Corsair H115i RGB cooler is a nice software controlled cooler that can satisfy even the most hard boiled geek as everything can be controlled by the software and you have more than enough options to monitor the entire system in realtime.
 

Innovation/Technology - 4
Here I have to mention Corsair's new SP140L fans which are virtually silent. Apart from that, the radiator, pump and fans look like something we have seen before with the addition of the built-in RGB LED light in the pump. It is also a nice addition that you can be in the same room as the Corsair H115i RGB cooler without being blown away by noisy fans even in Performance mode.

Bundle/Accessories - 3
The bundle included with the Corsair H115i RGB cooler is very fitting. There is a fitting amount of screws and things included without it being completely overwhelming and it is nice to see that they have thought all the way with the intallation of the cooler.

Design/Layout - 5
I personally like the exterior design really much when looking at both the fans and pump. It is always a private matter if you like the hot gimick of the time, in this case RGB LED lighting, in my opinion it looks really good in a build where the other parts also have RGB LED lights.

Software/BIOS - 4
The Corsair Link 4 software is a well known part in Corsair's AIO by now and they have succeded in integrating RGB LED control into the pump. The software is also quite advanced so you are not missing out on any monitoring tools, everything involving the AIO along with the probes on the motherboard and the systems fans is monitored by the Corsair Link 4.

Performance - 5
Performance is top notch when you pick Performance mode and is more than enough if you are going to overclock. If you are more concerned about having a silent computer the balanced and quiet mode are probably more relevant and are also capable of doing some overclocking. Under all circumstances and in all modes the cooler is virtually silent.

Price - 4
Personally I think the price is a bit to the high end, when you look at Arctic who delivers a cooler that is just as effective, albeit with more fans but also PWM control at 600 DKK.
