AMD annoncerer Duron 900 MHz

AMD har netop annonceret en 900 MHz version af deres Duron processor. Duron er AMDs low-end processor, men til trods for det, byder den på markedets højeste pris/ydelses forhold, da det er både den hurtigste og billigste low-end processor i øjeblikket. Prismæssigt kommer 900 MHz versionen til at ligge cirka 200 kroner højere end 850 MHz versionen. AMD har allerede aftaler med flere PC-producenter, hvilket betyder at vi om kort til vil se modeller fra blandt andet Compaq, baseret på AMDs Duron 900 MHz

Also, on April 6, the nation's third-largest home shopping network, ValueVision (Nasdaq: VVTV), will begin offering 900MHz AMD Duron processor-based systems to its 43 million viewers as part of the V2 Premier system.
