DFI AM33 series.

After launching a series of high-end motherboards supporting AMD processors, DFI is proudly introducing a series of new high-performance, low priced motherboards based on VIA KLE133 chipsets. The design of DFI's AM33 series of motherboards primarily focuses on the consumers' needs for broadband and low price. The AM33 motherboards are designed in compact size; not only providing the system manufacturer with easy-to-assemble products, but also offering the computer users with more agile control in terms how they purchase and arrange their computer cases.

DFI AM33 Series Motherboards
The AM33 series motherboards, which support the Socket A processor structure and adopt VIA KLE133 chipsets. It is of microATX motherboard design, support FSB 200/266MHz AMD AthlonTM / DuronTM processors. The AM33 series motherboards contain 2 built-in SRDAM DIMM slots up to 1GB memory capacity. In terms of the expandability, other than the 3 PCI and 1 CNR expansion slots to meet customers' needs for external hardware expansion.

Also, the AM33 series motherboards include a built-in AC'97 codec sound chip, which reasonably provides the consumers with different options. Moreover, the AM33 series motherboards also offer the optional built-in LAN capabilities (AM33-EL), which allow the consumers to easily connect to the Internet and enjoy the pleasure brought by the Internet through this function.

Incorporated The High-performance Graphics Acceleration Interface
Not only incorporate the graphic 3D/2D functions, The AM33 series motherboards can also expand display memory module by sharing with the main memory module. Utilizing the built-in graphic functions on the motherboards, users will be get considerably satisfying graphics results without purchasing separate graphics cards.

DFI's New Motivation & New Choice
After all, why do DFI's AM33 motherboards worth consumers purchasing? In addition to the low prices and having the complete functions, the AM33 motherboards also support the upcoming 1.3G-1.5GHz AMD AthlonTM (Palomino) processors and 950M-1GHz DuronTM (Morgan) processors.

Furthermore, DFI has also build the "Stepless Frequency Selection (SFS)" function for computer users who care about overclocking capabilities, allowing the users to freely set a higher external frequency by using 1MHz unit, and providing the users with the perfect broadband environment. By supporting the 200/266MHz external frequency Front Side Buses, the AM33 motherboards allow AMD AthlonTM and DuronTM processors to draw on an even better performance efficiency.

Offering The Superb Design
The AM33 series motherboards not only support the ATA/100 high-speed data transmission interface and provide an improved version of the AC'97 Audio Codec, but also offer users with more functional options, such as supporting the STR(Suspend-to-RAM) technology which enables the computer system to resume from a suspending status in just few seconds; and the Hardware Monitor function which is mainly responsible for the CPU voltage, the system overheat protection and monitoring the operation of the CPU fan.

At the same time, the AM33 motherboards provide users several Wake-On-Events functions to enable users to turn on a computer by mouse, or at a specific time or through the LAN.
