AMDZONE har en test af Corsair's 512MB PC3200 RAM De "rated" til at kunne køre med CAS 2 latency op til 400 MHz.
AMDZONE skriver bla: Memory is a major component in computers, but strangely is also the easiest to skimp on.
Often I see people spending hundreds of dollars on a video card yet buy the cheapest ram they can get their hands on.
Overclockers and speed freaks know that memory speed is half the battle for having a fast machine.
Corsair is targeting these consumers with some of the fastest and largest DDR memory on the planet. They have managed to create a stick large and fast enough to give even the new VIA KT400 and nForce 2 boards plenty of overclocking room. Weighing in at 512 megabytes, this sumo wrestler is also rated to do 400 MHz at CAS 2.
As we know in the past, Corsair has been very conservative in their speed ratings. But how does a hand selected piece of memory perform?
Fortunately I managed to acquire two sticks of this new wonder memory, but how much better is it than the CMX512-3200?
