10/2002: Taipei, TW Thermaltake® Technology, today announces new technology in water-cooling resulting in more efficient cooling solution: AquariusIITM. Already, Thermaltake has been known in the PC & Electronics Industry as a leader in the world's leading provider of thermal solutions. AquariusIITM is designed for users who wants superior cooling, while not compromising high noise level along with it.
Xaser II Series with AquariusIITM
Thanks to AquariusIITM?s low power consumptions, users can eliminate the needs for an additional power source or Power Supply Unit. Thus keeping the inside of the chassis cleaner and free of clutters to maximize airflow.
?With the advances of today?s high speed microprocessors, we need to better ourselves with technologies which can keep up with these advances,? said Vic Chan, Senior Product Manger Thermaltake, ?with the introduction of both SubZero4GTM and AquariusIITM, not only did [Thermaltake] achieve this goal, but went beyond and surpassed all expectations.?
According to Flora Chan, Marketing Manager Thermaltake, noise is one of Thermaltake?s major concerns when designing this new product: ?We want something that performs well but also emits a low amount of noise level when operating.? AquariusIITM was validated and tested by Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan: an impressive 29dBA and 0.24 °C/W of heat dissipation power.
With public?s demand of flexibility, AquariusIITM can be easily transformed to accommodate all current platforms including Intel P4 up to 4Ghz+, AMD K7 up to 3600+ and the yet-to-be released AMD K8 Generation microprocessors.
AquariusIITM will be announced at the Comdex/Fall ?02, held at the Las Vegas from November 18 ? 22, 2002. Thermaltake will be showcasing their products at booth 5445. Live demonstrations and more detailed information will be available at the showcase.
