Over the summer we took a look at one of Abit?s ?MAX? motherboards the IT7 MAX. The original MAX was based on the Intel i845E and was legacy free. Being legacy free, the board had a bit of trouble selling since it?d require the user to go out and purchase a new USB mouse and keyboard if they haven?t done so already. Abit tried to rectify the problem by releasing an IT7 MAX2, which was based on a black PCB and added 2 PS2 ports, as well as Serial ATA.
