NVIDIA RELEASES NEW DRIVER FOR GEFORCE FX AND QUADRO FX GPUs
Detonator v43.45, with Support for DirectX 9, Is Now Available on NVIDIA's European Websites
NVIDIA has released a driver update to its Detonator 40 driver series. Detonator v43.45 brings DirectX 9 support to GeForce FX and Quadro FX GPUs, as well as adds game compatibility enhancements for "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell," "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down," "Rise of Nations" and the beta version of "Star Wars Galaxies." Each game carries the NVIDIA "The Way It's Meant to Be Played" logo, a consumer program dedicated to promoting compatibility with NVIDIA hardware. The v43.45 driver also includes new optimizations for the 3DMark 2003 performance tool.

Please note that as of today, this new driver has not received WHQL-certification. We anticipate a subsequent driver release, with full WHQL-certification and new control panel enhancements, in early April.
The Detonator 40 driver series is based on The NVIDIA(r) unified driver architecture (UDA), the graphics industry's only single software driver solution. The Detonator driver is both forward-and-backward compatible-across all implementations of NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs). Every NVIDIA Detonator driver is tested with previous releases of drivers to ensure backward compatibility, and every new driver is tested across the entire NVIDIA product line.
