New cross reference guide for Corsair memory and the Canterwood (i875) motherboards It shows which Corsair modules are most appropriate for different types of user (i.e. enthusiast, overclocker, extreme overclocker - and it distinguishes between extreme overclockers who want best latency performance and those who want best bus speed).
It tells you:
- what memory settings the modules are tested with (i.e. 2-2-2-6 or 2-3-3-6);
- what the SPD settings are (i.e. 2-2-2-6 or 2.5-4-4-8);
- where the BIOS settings can be (or might need to be) adjusted to improve performance
It lists mainboards from Abit, Asus, Epox, Gigabyte, Intel, MSI and Supermicro.
