The AMD chip is an XP-M 2500 at 45 watts, bundled with Windows XP Home, and giving an average battery life of four hours.
Acer did teveal the other specs of the machine, including a 15-inch screen, Radeon Mobility 9200 graphics, 512MB DDR memory, a 60GB hard drive, DVD, Bluetooth, 802.11g, Ethernet and the rest.
Her er lidt fra pressemeddelelsen:
An elegant, slender and light chassis in Ferrari red and silver colors, the Ferrari 3000 features a 15-inch TFT screen with higher brightness supported by a speedy graphics engine, ATi RADEON MOBILITY 9200 with 128MB video memory, 512MB DDR RAM and 60GB hard disk, as well as a DVD dual optical solution, all managed by a powerful AMD processor.
"Mobile" represents connectivity-ease under all circumstance, which the exclusive Ferrari 3000 guarantees thanks to wireless connectivity (standard IEEE 802.11g) and PAN with built-in Bluetooth, LAN connections with 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet and phone line support with 56Kbps V.92 modem or fax.
Displaying, managing or storing images and videos, or connecting videos and digital peripherals are made easy with the Ferrari 3000, with its DVD player/burner, quick USB ports, S-Video output, FireWire IEEE 1394 interface and 4-in-1 memory card reader.
