Corsair annoncerede fredag et nyt kabinet i deres Carbide serie, nemlig SPEC-ALPHA Mid tower. SPEC-ALPHA har en stor siderude, et meget kantet styling og fås i sort/grå, rød/hvid og måske også i en ikke annonceret sort/rød. Det er spækket med funktioner til at gøre din næste gaming PC lettere at bygge. SPEC-ALPHA har tre 120 mm fans for direkte luftstrøm, en tre-speed fan controller og masser af muligheder for at rumme en bred vifte af high-end PC-hardware.

Med sin moderne, kantede udseende, skiller SPEC-ALPHA sig virkelig ud til et LAN party, eller blot hjemme under skrivebordet. Der er masser af moderne funktioner indbygget. Her kan nævnes indbyggede USB 3.0 support, plads til fire SSD'er og en tre-speed fan contoller til de tre inkluderede 120 mm fans, der giver brugeren mulighed for at indstille deres egen kølings sweet spot. Et stort vindue viser dit valg af hardware og deres "direkte luftstrøm layout", giver god køling ved at slippe af med unødvendige drevpladser. SPEC-ALPHA er også i stand til at rumme en front monteret 240 mm radiator, og det giver mulighed for ekstra væskekøler opgraderinger.
