Efter hvad the Inquirer har fået at vide skulle AMDs Hammer cpu kun understøtte DDR-I ram istedet for DDR-II ram.
Her er hvad de skriver:
AMD HAS CONFIRMED that Hammer currently only supports DDR-I and that the introduction of DDR-II will require a new design for its on-die memory controller, according to ebnews.
Samsung and Elpida are already sampling DDR-II chips, which are expected to tip up late next year -- some months after Hammer is due to be launched in both its Athlon and Octopus guises.
