So what does all this have to do with a heatsink review? Well, I choose the P4 for the main system for a reason: noise. Noise goes hand-in-hand-in-hand with heat and stability. P4's have an easier time of coping with heat, thus I can use a quieter fan without sacrificing stability, and all is well in the household. Now, Thermaltake thinks they can beat Intel's stock heatsink. This wasn't a problem in the P3 days, but Intel has managed to create quite a heatsink for their P4... one that many aftermarket heatsinks have had a hard time topping, especially at such a low noise level (and it's surprising these companies even bother selling their lackluster heatsinks, since Intel's heatsink comes with every P4). Can Thermaltake achieve their goal without using a deafening fan? Let's check it out!
