VIA lauched the KT400 motherboard at QuakeCon 2002 today which is definiteley one of the coolest ways to introduce a product. Along with other things, the KT400 brings DDR400 and AGP8X support to the Athlon platform. Now, what we have for you today is not a detailed look at the chipset, rather, a first look at one of the motherboards featuring this chipset- the ASUS A7V8X. The board that we have with us is probably not the final version and the BIOS is definitely beta- so do expect the performance to differ.
We will definitely give this board a full blown review in the upcoming days when we have the final version and BIOS. In the meantime and for the curious eyes, here's what to expect from ASUS' upcoming KT400 chipset motherbaord- the A7V8X.
