Konklusion

Scythe Byakko er målrettet brugeren der sidder med et kompakt kabinet, som ønsker god køling med et lavt støjniveau. At der så oven i købet er lidt luft til overclocking gør kun Byakko mere interessant.
Scythe slipper godt fra deres forsøg med en kompakt luftkøler. Byakko leverer varen, og ser godt ud, imens den gør det.

Innovation/Teknologi - 3
Heatpipes og bund lavet af kobber og et køletårn af aluminium er noget vi har set før.  Kort sagt bidrager Byakko ikke med noget nyt, og vi lander derfor på en neutral karakter.

Kassen indeholder hvad der skal bruges for at komme igang. Hverken mere eller mindre.

Design - 4
Byakko adskiller sig ikke fra mængden. På plussiden skal lige nævnes, at Scythe har sørget for plads til RAM med høje heatsinks, hvilket trækker en smule op.

Ydelse - 4
Scythe Byakko klarer sig glimrende ved stocktesten. Her så vi lave temperature og et meget lavt støjniveau. Ved OC-delen faldt den lidt igennem, hvilket var forventet, da Byakko ikke er lavet til det formål. Et mindre OC vil den fint kunne køre med, så vi lander på et pænt 4-tal.

Pris - 4
Sythe Byakko koster 257,- kr inkl. levering. Det er en meget lav pris for så god en køler. Er du på jagt efter en erstatning for din standard køler, bør du tage Byakko med i dine overvejelser.

Scythe Byakko is aimed for the user who uses a compact chassis, and wants good cooling with a low noise level. Byakko is even more interesting, as it has headroom for some overclocking.
Scythe is entering the compact cooling segment, with a very good result. Byakko delivers the goods, and looks good while doing it.

Innovation/Technology - 3
Heatpipes and base made of copper, and a tower out of aluminum is something we have seen before. In short Byakko doesn't contributes with anything new, and hence we ends up with a neutral grade.

The box contains what you need to get started. Neither more, nor less.

Design/Layout - 4
Byakko doesn't´t stand out from the crowd. On the plus side, Scythe has made space for memory with heigh heatsinks, which adds to the score.

Performance - 4
Scythe Byakko did a very good job during the stock test. We saw low temperatures, and a very low noise level. During the OC part, it felt through, which we expected, as the Byakko isn´t ment for that. Anyway, a minor OC shouldn't be a problem for Byakko.

Price - 4
You´ll have to pay 257,- DKK incl. delivery for the Scythe Byakko. That´s a very low price for a cooler with such a good performance. if you´re looking for a replacement for your stock cooler, you should take the Byakko into consideration.
