Test: New and promising performance by innovative Noise Limit CPU cooler

Conclusion

Although I have already mentioned some of the points that normally would be in a conclusion to spark your interest, there are still a few things that I would like to air.

As described earlier, I personally see an enormous potential in the technology with the results I have seen. I think that what is being developed towards now is to move the output characteristics to be in line with the watt development of modern processors.

This cooler can yield on par with the best, but first when the processor generates over 100 W of heat. This means that the cooler won't perform as well as heat pipes on the newer processors, which at a standard speed only burn at around 60 W continuously, depending on the model. This is without doubt something that can be optimized.

In addition, I would, of course, love to see Noise Limit's answer to A MONSTER. I'm talking about a 1000 g beast for those that think it would be fun to see heat pipes kicked back to the Middle Ages!

Yes, yes, I know that the current target market for Noise Limit is HTPC and generally light low-noise models for OEM, but the figures show with all probability that it would be easy to upscale it, pop on a 120 mm fan and still enjoy low noise but on a large scale with some cooling records in sight.

Bundle: 4
The bundle is small on this beta cooler, but the fan control is unnecessary due to the noise level and the mounting is very easy, so this results in a 4.

Design: N/A
The cooler's Achilles heel. The cooler is rough, and was also only leant out to test as a teaser. It is fair enough and we are not complaining about being the first to present the cooler in this context. To be fair, I've given N/A instead of a low score for a product that isn't ready for a retail launch yet.

Performance: 4
In performance per unit weight, the cooler was unmatched. However, there is a little "but" that I think the performance is at the wrong place in terms of the most popular processors of today, so this is the reason for taking off a point.

Price: N/A
I don't know it, and Noise Limit doesn't either yet. But one thing is certain; the price will drop as Noise Limit is able to launch a decidedly mass production. Currently, there are plans to market the products through a retail partner.
