Mounting

The mounting system is an impressively simple invention and actually also works impressively well.

First you mount a frame, with the well-known standard LGA 775 push pins from Intel's standard cooler. This frame has a bracket that just fits on the cooler. Afterwards, the bracket just needs to be pressed into place on the mounted frame. It is very easy, but I did manage to mount it with the bracket pointing in another direction than that recommended by the guide, as this was much easier.

I have a suspicion that this part of the mounting installation guide was written for an earlier beta model of the cooler, where the pipes were placed differently. I have seen earlier pictures of this.

The fan, according to the instructions, must be placed against the PSU, which seems a shame because I think that placing it towards the fan on the side of the cabinet would provide a better result, due to the cooler air from outside.
