Hi.
I just purchased this game Star Wars Battlefront 2 and it will not start, it says that I use some sort of disc emulation software even though I have uninstalled Deamon Tools to get this game working.
It is sad to pay for something that does not even work out of the box.
By now I have received a full refund from the game shop where I got it, I can tell u that I will never use, support or buy a game that does not work out of the box, not even with deamon tools installed, I use it very regularly to mount DVD images and all my old backups of games that I have bought over time.
After having talked with a few friends I have learned also that if you get an illegal copy with cracks it works fine, so what do you think that the average Joe chooses?
To pay big money for a game that will never be able to run without heavy support weeks after the purchase or just simply download it illegal and being able to play immediately
Because of legal reasons I say that I would never do such a thing.
I have posted this e-mail in several forums just to show my appreciation of this problem.
I have also send a copy of it to LucasArts

En af mine venner havde det samme problem med Battlefield 2, det eneste der virkede var at formatere og helt lade være med at installere nogen former for mounting programmer. Det er noget surt skidt, og jeg håber de fikser problemet, for ja, det er sq spild af penge at man skal vide hvilke programmer det virker og ikke virker med.
