Hej. Jeg skrev det her på et engelsk forum, men uden svar. Nu spørger jeg jer, men jeg har ikke tid til at translate til dansk. Bær over mig :)
Hello fellaws. Awhile ago, I tried to overclock my computer. I went into BIOS, to overclock my cpu a little, and i discovered that my computer CAN'T be overclocked at all. There is no settings that can overclock or UNLOCK settings so that i can overclock my "system". Very weird..?
I thought it was my bios that i had to update, but i can't, 'cause the company who made my motherboard wants money for updating BIOS... I can't find a driver or something for my BIOS, so i believe i can't overclock. Can somebody help me with that?
There is one other thing... My CPU is 65 Celsius / 155 Fahrenheit. Is that good/normal for an Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz CPU? - When i go into BIOS, and set my FAN (cooler) to be turned on ALL the time (not just the auto setting, where the CPU is deciding when the FAN is turned on or not), the temperature goes down to about 58 Celsius / 137 Fahrenheit. Fine enough, but if i want to overclock, I don't think it is good enough. What do you think?
How can i overclock? BIOS or a program? - I'm lost... I don't know how to update my BIOS neither
P.S. All my friends (with sucky computers and motherboards) can overclock in their BIOS. No updated. Im really pissed, 'cause my computer is very expensive and have(!) to own.. :)
P.P.S Sorry for my bad english
