Folder disappeared on DS710+

I have a question. I have a DS710+.

In my download manager, I have some torrents that I seed to other people. But my download folder is gone, when I made a mistake by deleteing SABnzbd+, so it took my download folder. So my question is, how can I get my folder back and the things that where in it? And how can it be, that it still upload to other people, but I cant see the files?

Hi Son,

If you enabled the "CIFS Recycle Bin" and deleted the folder from Windows CIFS protocol, you can find the files in the recycle bin in the shared folder. Other then this, I am afraid you will not be able to get the deleted data back.

I didnt have that enabled before I "deleted" the folder. But thanks for your help, and a GREAT piece of hardware.

Hello, I have the 211+ and I like it. The but is there a "CIFS Recycle Bin" on it to?
Last week I lost 60 gb movie when my hd live hd frozen some who.
I don't expect to get the movie back, but help next time I loses some files.

You are refering to a foreign phone number (in respect to denmark), which means a heavy phone bill for most danish inhabitants. So my real question is, do you have a online/Internet/IP based phone lines, which we can call cheaper or for free? I do not own a Synology product at the moment, but, I consider it as a very usefull information for future uses in this forum.
