Hey

I was just wondering, after my first Vengeance 8GB kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9) was faulty and had to be replaced, i got a kit back beening matched as right next to each other in production line. As in contrast to the kit i RMA´ed witch had 100+ numbers between the modules.

So wondering a bit here, are the best matched kits saved for RMA returns now a days ? 😛

Even if, then whats about the large difference´s between modules in Dual channel kits like these ? its normal now or ?

Seeing its the same with my new LV kit i got secondhand (CML8GX3M2A1600C9W) i startede wondering, is it easier to pair/match ram stable than before, or does some kits just end up beeing matched with 100+ modules between them by some random act of god ? 😲

Thanks in advance.

So long as they are bought as a twin-pack (or quad-pack) they will be matched.

Matching two sets of different memory will be easier at lower speeds, and harder at higher frequencies. But if they are from a similar LOT, or are the same Rev. they will obviously be easier to match.

I´ll open to check that later today, and post both LOT and SN 🙂

Considering im having what seems to be an incombatility issue with my mobo and the CML8GX3M2A1600C9W kit, it would be nice if you could comment on my other "issue" here :

Nice response time btw, nice to see that 😀
