Hello,

We are pleased to announce the release of DSM 4.0 hotfix. This hotfix release includes:
DSM 4.0:
Enhanced Samba protocol security by preventing remote code execution as the "root" user (CVE-2012-1182), as well as other fixes.

Improved the NTFS Performance to be 2.6 times as the previous version.

Thanks for the information, I have already updated the apps but nice to know there is a new version of DSM 🙂

If we update to the new DSM 4.0-2219 will all settings from the firewall and users be saved?
