Hello!

We have started a survey where you can answer questions about computer cases, what you like, what you dont like, what you want in your dreamcase and so on. We would be happy if you would like to answer these questions.

A very interresting survey.

I use to own a Corsair 600T, i have also had 800D, but it was simply too much work to make the 800D work with my needs.

Now that said, the 900D, i like some of the features, but others, well i simply hate, and find useless.

I am that one in a million.

I dont use 5.25 bays, i dont use 3.5 bays, but i do use 2,5, SSD's and normal 2,5 HDDs.

Now that said, i am a watercooler. The 900D simply did not match my needs, it was too big, and i hate the looks of the double split side. But the ideas are great, and i know that ever so many people LOVE that case.

On the other hand, first time i saw the Phantek Enthoo Primo, i fell in love. The fact that i could fit the 480 monsta in is with push pull, and have my PSU split away on the back was something important for me.

Now in the survey i did pick Phantek as my option for the best cases, but this is as far as the layout. The build quality is so far behind Corsair, i often feel sad that Corsair arnt the people behind the Primo.

In the perfect world, i want a case to fit 2 or maybe 3 of alpha cools monsta rads. I often find that the top of the case is where the problem is. Make more space! We will use it! If i could fit a 4x 140mm 80mm thick rad with push and pull above my motherboard i would be happy, but in most cases, one needs to place the top fans on the outside, which simply looks ugly as hell.

I could go on for ages, the perfect case wont ever happen, as we all want different features, but maybe a skeleton DIY kit from corsair would a great idea. With option for pure rad and no 5.25bays in front, or option for bays, depending on the users needs.

If i had the time, i'd install Inventor and draw away, but the sad part is, i feel it would be time waisted as i dont have the money to get the case made.

Made my reply :)

Hope that you will make a case that is super small like 250D but MATX and still can house 1 or 2 240mm radiators it doesnt matter if it gets tight!

I just got the 250D and I absolutly love it! keep going in the direction :)

Check my scatch computer case for a school project (spoiler) i used a lot of the measurement from corsair 250D

Survey filled.

My perfect case:
760T style
Replacement vented top cover.
Big enough for 60mm 360 rad with push/pull in the top, and at the same time 80mm 360/480 rad with push/pull in the front.
NO 5,25" bays

Kinda like the enlarged love child of your 760t and the NZXT H440.

get rid of 5,25! they take up a lot of space that can be used for cooling.

Survey answered ;)

I find myself in a place where my 3 5.25" bays in the cosmos 2 is just not enough. I would love to have 5, then I could install all the fan controllers and resevoirs I need. I also still use a CD to burn music for my car, and I know many who do. Scrapping 5.25" would be a bad idea...

Eksternt drev er løsningen på brænding af skiver.

Men jeg gider ikke have et ekstern drev, ej heller en ekstern blæser kontrol.

Did the survey...

I answered ATX board, but I am not planning a build right now... and there is no reason why it might as well end up being a mITX; it is not like I have any use of the slots in my surrent motherboard, besides the one for the graphics.

Still spinning my optical drive to rip my music CDs, blu-ray, HD-DVD, ... for my server and the occational burning of a distro and other things

Jeg kan ikke køre 13 PWN blæsere fra mit bundkort. Og jeg vil også have mine blæsere på 100%, blæser kontrollen er der blot for at være det, ligesom alle de blæsere er der bare for at være der 😉

Done.. nice survey..

I think i agree with a lot of people in saying that the 5.25" is a waste of good space for at front mounted radiator. IMHO i would love to see a case that is specific for one board size only. allowing to only have grommets in the MB tray where it is necessary would give the it a lot cleaner look.
