Hello HWT,
As many of you probably know we at Corsair makes a lot of different PC-cases. In 2009 we started with the Obsidian 800D that became very popular and now we have four different series of PC-cases, Obsidian, Graphite, Vengeance and Carbide.
I have seen many nice builds and modding projects with our cases here in the forum which is really nice to see since Im a modder myself and really loves that stuff.
Im posting this thread so we can discuss our cases. We at Corsair are very interested in your opinions and what you think about our products. So if you have any questions or feedback about our cases, feel free to post here. Ill answer as fast as I can.
Something I would love aswell is if you want to post pictures of your Corsair builds here. :)

I'm very happy about my Carbide Air 540, but the 2 brackets, were my 2 3.5" drives is installed, broke during installation. The lock/unlock system simply cracked! Probably because the plastic is weak.
When I contacted your support, they told me to send the whole case, which I questioned them about but they have never returned me an answer.
Can you assist me with this issue or?
Otherwise I'm very happy about the case.

Nice to hear that you like our Air 540. Did the entire harddrive cage break or only the slides that you install the harddrive in?`

It's only the slides that broke. I've lost my ticket number, because the support never returned my question. On a sidenote, I don't know if the answer you get is from a no-reply email, and since I never heard anything, I deleted the correspondence 😳

I've fallen for the "new" 380T, but skipped out as it is only for mini itx.
In my opinion these types of advanced cases are for advanced computer users, and should support Micro ATX boards that open up for the possibility for SLI and CF.
but since it doesn't its not really interesting.

Okay, can you start a new ticket? Ill help you get some new slides for the case. Sometimes you have to check your spam-folder for the activation mail and so on. :)

The 380T is nice yes, perfect for bringing to LAN-parties. I will pass on your feedback about a similar Micro-ATX case!

It could be cool if you could make a case completely without 5.25 cages. like f.ex. the H440. I know you can remove the cages but you still don't have the fanbracket and have to mod one yourself.
The market for this case i believe is there. Just look at the popularity of the H440.
I'm thinking 750D'ish with triple 120/140 rad support in the front and in the top. 🙂

I'm having a Corsair Carbide 500R, and I love it. I do have a small problem though. The 2 USB3.0 port in front of the cabinet is connected to an intern USB3 controller (Gigabyte G1.Sniper.Z97), but the ports does not seem to work with a 2,5" USB3 HDD, as if the HDD does not get enough power. I have tried the mobo with another cable/USB3 hub, and then it works fine, so it is either the buildin-cable from Corsair or the USB3 connectors that is not good enough. Same problem was also with my former mobo (MSI Z77A GD65), so I'm pretty sure this fault is a "corsair" fault.
A USB3 stick works fine though 🙂
