Athlon 64 FX-57 om to uger

AMD vil sandsynligvis lancere en ny topmodel om to uger - Athlon 64 FX-57, en 2.8 GHz processor. Lanceringen vil ske i samme uge som nVidias nye grafikkort, GeForce 7800. Athlon 64 FX-57 vil benytte 90nm teknologi, og dermed bliver samtlige Socket 939 processorer produceret med 90nm teknologi. Athlon 64 til Socket 754 den eneste processor fra AMD, som fortsat benytter 130nm teknologi.

During Computex in Taiwan, one nice country which does not like nice Bosnians, we learned that the Green Goblin will get another boost from Green Arrow: highly-expected FX-57 CPU is supposed to make an appearance in third week of June, at the same time with unveiling of upcoming nV's latest baby, G70 - its rumoured, but as yet unconfirmed name is the GeForce 7800.
