Here we are today to introduce you our new VENZ flagship Android media streamer model, V12 ULTRA Since our intense European roll out of our new VENZ line up which started by April 2016 we have listened a lot to the wishes from our partners and consumers.

We feel that our V12 ULTRA completes the line up as being that Android box which also fulfil the needs of those who wished for the extra hardware specs and we are certain that it fits perfectly next to its smaller brothers; V10 and V10 PRO which are available all over Europe nowadays.

Our new V12 ULTRA with solid aluminium casing brings power, joy and speed into your digital entertainment lifestyle.

It will be released with the known VENZ stable Android 6.0.1 firmware and a Android 7 firmware is already being developed, tested as we speak to ensure a upgrade to once our engineering team concludes 7 is stable for the V12 ULTRA. Of course the firmware updates come to our V12 ULTRA by our VENZ OTA (Over The Air) update server for maximum comfort and up-to-date firmwares for all VENZ users across Europe.

The V12 ULTRA supports 4K UHD 60-fps, HDR10 and VP9. The base of the hardware system in our new V12 ULTRA is made out of the Amlogic S912 chipset with an 64-bit Octa Core ARM Cortex A53 processor up to 2GHz combined with the Dual Core ARM Mali-T830 video processor with a speed of 750MHz (DVFS). On the internal memory hardware we have not hold back and only use memory from the best brands like Samsung and SK Hynix in order to bring simply the best components to our box for the European market and ensure a long lifetime. The V12 ULTRA holds DDR4 3GB and eMMC flash 16GB which the user even can expand with an extra 64GB by adding a MicroSD card in the MicroSD card reader slot on the back of the V12 ULTRA. Connection wise the V12 ULTRA is well equipped with a Dual Band 2.4 & 5.8GHz WiFi antenna, a Gigabit LAN port and a Bluetooth 4.0 receiver built in. USB devices can be connected to the three USB ports that are situated on the left side of the device, you may connect USB external HDD’s which we tested and approve up to 4TB. On the backside of the V12 ULTRA you will find from left to right the strong 38dBA WiFi antenna, the ON/OFF power switch, the DC power input, the AV out (CVBS) port, the SPDIF optical out port, the Gigabit LAN RJ45 input port with below it the small reset hole, next to this is the HDMI 2.0a input port and below this the MicroSD card reader port which supports up to 64GB MicroSD and TF cards. Another great gesture we make towards our users is the chip support on the V12 ULTRA for DTS & Dolby ensuring HD audio downmix and passthrough capabilities.

On the software side the V12 ULTRA will be released with our custom style VENZ Android GUI which you have seen on our V10 and V10 PRO models previously and which our users and fans around Europe love very much by the ease of its build and the stability that it gives to them. Of course some popular Android applications are already pre-installed like Netflix, YouTube, Kodi Krypton, ES File explorer, Skype and others. More applications easily can be installed by all users using the full Google Playstore which is available on the VENZ software by simply entering it with their Google account.

Controlling the V12 ULTRA device will be one big celebration right out of the box, we have decided to include our own VZ-RK-1 “Ladyshape” style airmouse-keyboard-remote control standard in the V12 ULTRA retail packaging. The remote control side replaces the traditional IR remote completely since it give the same buttons and functions and although it works on the RF 2.4GHz protocol with a included USB dongle the VZ-RK-1 also supports IR control so you are able to turn the V12 ULTRA off and on by it. The “ladyshape” design gives you simply the best control feeling in your hand by far from any other remote control, the airmouse functionality makes you control your V12 ULTRA to the fullest in any platform or application. But that’s not all folks! On the backside of the VZ-RK-1 you will find a full layout QWERTY keyboard which enables fast typing when needed using the V12 ULTRA.
