Konklusion

Hvad synes jeg så, sådan i det store hele om Creative Aurvana DJ. Ja, det er sådan lidt både og. Prismæssigt er det placeret i et segment, hvor der er meget at vælge imellem, rigtig meget faktisk. Det skal man selvfølgelig også have med, i sine overvejelser. Aurvana har haft sine opture, og lidt nedture, men har overvejende bestemt været et positivt bekendtskab. Men lad os uddele nogle point, og opsummere plusser og minusser.

Innovation/Teknologi - 3
Helt ærligt, så er der ikke meget nyt under solen. Det er et headset, som et headset nu engang ofte er lavet. Ikke nogle revolutioner her. En fin middel-karakter.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 2
Der er jo kun, hvad man som minimum kan forvente, at der skal være i kassen. Et styk headset og en adapter, og det skal der bare være. Når nu Creative fremhæver de udskiftelige ørepuder, så kunne de måske have smidt et sæt ekstra i kassen. Men der er intet ekstra. Det bliver lige under middel, altså et 2-tal.

Design/Layout - 4
Jamen, de ser sgu godt. Det synes jeg. Diskrete, uden at være kedelige. Elegante, med lidt "rå" kant. Men de gør sig nu bedst til lidt på afstand, så man ikke opdager at det er plastik, plastik, plastik, og lidt fake læder. Det ændrer ikke ved, at de er nydelige, og har fine indstillingsmuligheder. Jeg giver et flot 4-tal.

Ydelse - 3
Musik, der gør Aurvana det rigtig godt. Det ville også være trist andet, når nu efternavnet er DJ. Film, der knækker filmen altså. Det gik altså bare ikke særlig godt, ihvertfald ikke hvis det er et voldsomt eller fyldt lydbillede. Spil, det er ikke favorit-disciplinen, men kan sagtens bruges af den casualle gamer. Den krævende super-gamer vil nok smide dem væk i væmmelse. Nu har jeg givet 3 point, men da ydelsen er så forskellig, alt efter brug, vil jeg gerne uddybe lidt :

368,- dkk har jeg fundet Creative Aurvana DJ til. Nå jeg tænker på alt det plastik, synes jeg det er lidt dyrt. Men når jeg kigger på dem, og glemmer materialevalget, så synes jeg de ser dyrere ud. Den noget blandede ydelse, gør det ikke meget nemmere. Noget er de ret gode til, andet temmelig ringe til. Men jeg tildeler 3 point, som jeg synes de fortjener. Med det forbehold, at det kommer an på, hvad man skal bruge dem til. Er det til film og spil, er de alt for dyre. Men er det til musik, og et spil eller en film engang imellem, så er det en god pris. Igen vil jeg gerne præcisere lidt, alt efter brug vill point blive :

So, how do I like the Creative Aurvana DJ, what do I think about this product. Well, it´s not so simple, I think. The price-range they are placed in, is one that has a lot of offerings, lots to choose from. That is a fact you got to take into consideration, if you´re looking to buy a headset. The Aurvana DJ could be the headset for you, but there are so many to choose from in the same price-range. Aurvana DJ had it´s ups, and it had it´s downs, but has overall been a pleasant visitor at my workdesk. Let´s award some points, and sum up the pro´s and con´s of this Creative product.

Innovation/Technology - 3
To be honest, and I do strive to be just that, there´s nothing new under the sun. It´s headset, basically as a headset as usually is put together. No revolutions here.  3 points, a good, solid middle-grade.

Bundle/Accessories - 2
There is nothing, but what you at least would expect, in the box. The headset and the adapter. These two items has to be in the box. Now, when Creative emphasise the exchangeable ear-cushions, maybe they could have put an extra set in the box. But there is nothing extra, just the bare necessities. I´ll award 2 points, for an absolute minimum bundle.

Design/Layout - 4
Hey, they do look good. I think so. Discrete, but not boring. Stylish, with a "rough" edge. But they do make there best impression, when not studied up close. So you don´t discover the plastic, plastic, plastic and a little fake leather. That, however, does not change that they are a real nice design, and are quite easy to fit to most heads. 4 points, above average and a very fine grade.

Performance - 3
Music, that is right up Aurvana DJ´s alley. Anything else would be a bit of a disapointment, taking the DJ surname into account. Movies, well, that´s a very different story. Watching movies with this headset, was not a good experience at all. Not unbearable, but no pleasure either. Gaming, that is not a favourite disciplin for Aurvana either. For the casual gamer they will most likely do a fine job, but the demanding hardcore gamer will most likely throw them away in disgust. But then again, real hardcore gamers ARE hard to please. 3 points I will award for the somewhat mixed performance. But I would like to award points for each specific use. Then it would like this :

368.- dkk for the Creative Aurvana DJ. When I think off all the plastic, I think it is a little expensive. But when I look at them, and forget the plastic, I think they look more expensive that that. The mixed performance, doesn´t make this any easier. Something they are rather good at, others pretty bad. But I´ll award 3 point, which I think they deserve. But it very much depends on, what you are gonna use them for. Is it for gaming and movie-watching, they are too expensive. But for music-listening, and the occasional game or movie, the price is fair. 3 points, a solid middle grade yet again. Let me, again, award points specific for the different uses of this headset :
