ExtremeTech har haft følgende 8 luftkølere til test:

  • Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro
  • asetek Vapochill Micro
  • ASUS Star Ice
  • Cooler Master Hyper6+
  • Scythe MINE
  • Silverstone Nitrogon NT05
  • Thermaltake Sonic Tower
  • Ultra Fire



    "The VapoChill Micro, Cooler Master Hyper6+, and Scythe MINE also put up a fight in the overclocked test, but it's hard to justify the expense for a one or two degree Celsius reduction in load temps. For less demanding processors, you might see more of a disparity. The most tangible benefit from these horizontal coolers may be noise reduction. For those equipped with external controllers and removable fans, the option of silent or nearly silent operation at slower clocks on lower wattage processors would be a more noticeable. You'd also get better chipset cooling without resorting to the small, buzzy southbridge fan solution."

    en std amd stock køler er da egentlig god i forhold til dem man køber. Hvis man skal se på deres test selfølgelig.

    #3 Jeg tror det er heat-pipe modellen. Tænk engang at en stock køler banker en Artic Freezer i Noise - både i idle og load :o

    Godt jeg lige har bestilt en Noctua NH-U9 :p
