HyperX Predator PCIe SSD
HyperX Predator PCIe SSD vil blive det hurtigste SSD produkt i Kingstons HyperX sortimentet, og vil samtidigt tilbyde en ganske stor kapacitet på 240GB og 480GB. Senere i Q1/Q2 vil der komme en version med 960 GB.
Med hastigheder der overgår SATA baserede SSDer, vil PCIe 2.0 x4 interfacet levere op til 1400MB/s (læs) og 1000MB/s (skriv) ved overførsler. Drevet benytter en Marvell 88SS9293 controller, og M.2 form factor sikrer support for næste generation af platforme med M.2 PCIe slot.
Da alle platforme endnu ikke har M.2 interface lanceres en version med half-height, halflength (HHHL) adapter som er kompatibel med systemer uden M.2 slot hvor et standard PCI Express slot kan benyttes. HHHL adapteren leveres med både standard og low-profile skinner.
