ASRock har lagt meget i udvikling af deres Z170 bundkort, og det er blevet bemærket rund omkring på de forskellige hardware sites. Senest har Tom's Hardware tildelt det deres fornemme pris "Editor Recommended" pris.
Noget af det der gør at det får prisen, er det at overcloknings resultaterne er bedre samt bedre lyd og netværk end andre kort i samme prisklasse.

ASRock Z170 Gaming K4 Wins Tom's Hardware 2016 Editor Recommended Award

TAIPEI, Taiwan, February 17, 2016 – Over the weekend, Thomas Soderstrom from Tom’s Hardware wrote an in-depth review on ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4, the most inexpensive Skylake motherboard of the ASRock Fatal1ty series. Not only did it receive lots of praise from the authority on tech, ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 was also rewarded the Tom’s Hardware 2016 Editor Recommended award.

Besides ASRock’s gaming motherboard, Tom’s hardware compared and tested two other motherboards from the same price range, including one from ECS, and another from Gigabyte. Apparently, without any surprise ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 surpassed its competitors in terms of performance. In a nut shell, it offers better CPU overclocking for gamers who thirst for computing power, and also brings improved audio and network controllers compared to similarly priced rivals, thus there’s no doubt that users will find exceptional value in this motherboard.
