Kassens indhold
Kassen indeholder de ting du skal bruge for at montere harddiske og installere enheden på dit netværk. Dvs. en pose skruer, strømkabel og adapter, ethernet kabel og så en manual og en CD med software.
I listen herunder kan du se hvad maskinen indeholder af hardware. Hjertet er en Cavium SoC processor på 600MHz. SoC står for System on a Chip, dvs. et integreret system med CPU, netkort, USB og SATA controller mm. samlet i en enkelt mangebenet lakrids. Dertil kommer arbejdshukommelsen på 256MB RAM. Lidt a'la det vi ser i mange små maskiner til videoafspilning over netværk, hvor man skræddersyr et chipsæt til at kunne afkode alle video filformater. Her er det bare en lagerenhed.
