Test: Intel Celeron G530

Konklusion

Jeg havde regnet med, at CPU'en her ville være så langsom, at den integrerede grafik slet ikke ville kunne andet end at vise 2D i Windows, men det viste sig, at den kan lidt mere end det. Med CPU'en her kan spillet Stalker: Call of Pripryat spilles ganske fint, og andre spil med nogenlunde samme grafik vil sikkert heller ikke være noget problem.

Innovation/Teknologi - 3
Det er ikke meget Intel har efterladt til CPU'en her. Vi får ingen turbo, meget mindre cache, 2 kerner og en meget lille GPU. Dette kan kun indbringe et 3 tal.

Ydelse - 3
Ydelsen er lidt bedre end hvad jeg havde forventet, og det at der kan spilles med CPU'en, synes jeg, er rigtig fedt.

Pris - 4
Her vil jeg ikke andet end at give 4. CPU'en koster cirka 350kr. hvilket ikke er ret meget til, at man kan spille mindre grafiske spil som Stalker. Det kræver dog som minimum et H61 bundkort, men disse er også ret billige.

UK summary

I expected this small Celeron CPU to be so slow that it would not be able to handle any tasks but the 2D in Windows, but I was surprised. I was actually able to play the game Stalker: Call of Pripryat with a decent 30 frames pr. second, which is fine. After testing this CPU I am pretty sure, the small Celeron will be able to handle other games like that.

Innovation/Technology - 3
This is a budget CPU without a doubt. We have no turbo, a much smaller cache, 2 cores, no hyperthreading and an even smaller GPU. I can only give the score of 3.

Performance - 3
The performance was actually better than I expected and I am still surprised about being able to handle smaller games without an extra graphics card.

Price - 4
I will give the score of 4 here. This price is approx. 350 DKK, which is not that bad. And you can actually do more than just Windows and Office tasks. Do not forget that you need a least a H61 motherboard, but those are in the lower end of the price range too.
