Konklusion
Software/BIOS - 5
Kortet leverede stabil ydelse hele vejen igennem testen.
UK summary
ASUS MARS GTX 760 is in the class of special homemade multi-GPU graphics card. ASUS has for many years made these cards, which are often the awful expensive, but with two GTX 760 chips is this generation MARS cards priced quite reasonably. In my opinion however, the card is missing a group of customers. A super user will probably buy two more cards for SLI for high performance, while ordinary users are rarely ready to spend over 3000,- DKK on a special map. Do you want an unusual graphics card and can make do with 2 GB of RAM then maybe the ASUS MARS card is for you.
Innovation/Technology - 2
GTX 760 chip comes from the last generation and it shows on the power consumption and that each chip only has 2 GB of RAM, which is not enough for higher resolutions.
Bundle/Accessories - 4
We are accustomed to minimal bundles, but MARS card comes with very useful accessories of high quality and therefore we land on 4 points.
Design/Layout - 3
The card looks good and the materials are of high quality, but in 2015 this cooler seems a bit old and noisier than newer cards with similar performance. It is mainly the noise that pulls down the score here.
Software/BIOS - 5
The card delivered stable performance throughout the test. Fans who stops completely when the card is not burdened, which is a real nice feature. GPU Tweak program makes it possible to turn up the voltage and power target.
Performance - 4
Performance varies with SLI, as support for this technology is not always optimal. MARS card followed GTX 970 cards for most of the test, but often fell to the ground when the solution reached 2560 x 1440 due to lack of RAM, however, there was a lot of power to be gained by overclocking. All things considered, we end up on four points.
Price - 4
Because it is from the last generation, this MARS card can be acquired for 3000,- DKK. This is actually a fairly reasonable price for something that has cost a lot of money to produce, therefore we land on a careful score of 4.
