Strix kortet tilbyder unikke features, som RGB lys på begge sider og stik til to blæsere, der styres af grafikkortes temperatur. Kvaliteten er i top og DirectCU køleren holder temperaturen nede, men den lidt højere blæserstøj trækker scoren ned på 4.
Software/BIOS - 5
Kortet samt drivere leverede stabil ydelse gennem hele testen. Vil du overclocke, vedlægger ASUS deres GPU Tweak og Aura software til at styre lyset på kortet.
Ydelse - 4
GTX 1060 tilbyder god ydelse i 1080p og klarer også 60 FPS ved 1440p. Sammenligner man med sidste generations favorit i denne prisklasse GTX 970, er DirectX 12 ydelsen ikke imponerende, dog arbejder Nvidia på dette. Konkurrenten i denne prisklasse RX 480, kan ikke følge med i DirectX 11, men AMD kortet er en smule hurtigere i DirectX 12, og koster også godt 500,- DKK mindre.
GTX 1060 kortene er rettet mod den almindelige gamer, og giver den bedste ydelse for pengene med Pascal arkitekturen. Men STRIX kortet er blandt de dyreste GTX 1060 6GB med en pris på 2599,- DKK. Dermed giver det reelt kun mening at vælge denne model fra ASUS, hvis du har brug for kortets ekstra feaures.

UK summary
With the STRIX cards ASUS delivers a solid and well-built graphics card, as we know them. The two connectors for external fans are still there and while the implementation works well, I miss control over the fans through GPU Tweak or other software. The built-in light is tastefully and Aura software makes it possible to choose exactly the color you want, or turn off the light completely.
DirectCU cooler is as expected good and keeps both temperature and noise in the good end, however ASUS can´t keep up with Msi Twin Frozr on the noise front, which just makes it a tad better. But it´s my only criticism of the STRIX card, which in classical ASUS style provides quality and features across the Board.
Innovation/Technology - 4
14nm together with the new Pascal architecture provides a nice performance with 1060 GTX low wattage. However, the card is not with GDDR5X, so that is why I deduct a single point of the innovation score.
Bundle/Accessories - 3
Even when it comes to enthusiast cards, the bundle is limited to the most necessary accessories. With the STRIX card comes overclock software, Republic Of Gamers cable ties and additional content to the World Of Warships.
Design/Layout - 4
The STRIX card offers unique features, such as RGB lights on both sides and Connector for two fans controlled by graphics card temperature. The quality is great and the cooler keeps the temperature down, but the slightly higher fan noise draws the score down at 4.
Software/BIOS - 5
The card and the drivers delivered stable performance throughout the test. If you want to overclock your GPU, ASUS includes their GPU Tweak and Aura software to control the light on the card.
Performance - 4
GTX 1060 offers good performance in 1080p and are also doing 60 FPS at 1440p. Comparing with last generation's favorite in this price class GTX 970, the DriwctX 12 performance is not impressive, however Nvidia is working on this. The competitor in this price range RX 480, can´t keep up with DirectX 11, but the AMD card is a bit faster in DirectX 12, and also cost around 500,-DKK less.

GTX 1060 cards are geared towards the General gamer, and provides the best performance for your money with Pascal architecture. But the STRIX card is among the most expensive GTX 1060 6 GB with a price of 2599.- DKK. Therfore it really only makes sense to choose this model from ASUS, if you need the cards additional features.
