Test: ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE

Konklusion

Det har igen været en udpræget fornøjelse at teste det på bundkortet som jeg nu havde hardware til. Om ikke andet så faldt denne test ud til ASUS fordel i forhold til de andre testede andre bundkort. Jeg synes det er et positivt tiltag med den lille OLED skærm som man kan følge lidt med på hvordan systemet booter og efterfølgende temperaturen, CPU hastigheden og spændingen. Bundkortet kørte i testperioden eksemplarisk og klarede sig helt fint under testene. Vil man og har man brug for den ekstra funktionalitet som VROC og Thunderbolt udvidelserne giver, så er dette bundkort afgjort alle pengene værd.

Innovation/Teknologi -  5
Her har ASUS lagt sig godt i selen for at klemme så meget som muligt af den seneste teknologi ned i dette PRIME Bundkort. Og der er ikke blevet sparet på noget her. Thunderbolt, VROC og ekstra blæserhub samt sågar en mini OLED skærm. Så kan man vel ikke forlange meget mere luxus på funktionerne.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 5
Der er heller ikke sparet på noget i den store bundle der følger med til dette PRIME bundkort. ekstra temperaturfølere og ekstra Thunderbolt kort samt et ekstra blæser hub print. Derudover er der naturligvis alle de ledninger man nu kunne stå og komme til at mangle ved køb af f.eks. LED striber.

Design/Layout - 5
Jeg er ret vild med designet selvom det ikke er sort hele vejen. De aluminiums farvede kølere og de hvide plastikdæksler passer fint med resten af Designet.  

Software/BIOS - 4
Software pakken er helt fin og kan tilfredsstille både Gameren og Entusiasten. BIOS'en kan der heller ikke sættes en finger på, den er logisk indrettet og nem at navigere rundt i.

Ydelse - 5
Ydelsen er generelt set faktisk den bedste jeg endnu har set på X299 platformen, kun overgået af MSI i nogle af testene.

Pris - 4
Prisen finder jeg yderst rimelig på omkring de 3,3 K kroner, og det skal naturligvis ses i lyset af at man med dette ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE faktisk får en hel del DELUXE funktionalitet ikke mindst i form af Thunderbolt udvidelses kortet og ekstra blæser hub samt en masse lækre funktioner i form af de nyeste teknologier både til RAID og U.2 samt M.2 samt ikke mindst den lille OLED skærm.

UK summary

It has again been a distinct pleasure to test it on the motherboard that I now had the hardware to. If nothing else, so this test fell out to ASUS advantage compared to the other tested motherboards. I think it's a positive move with the small OLED screen which you can follow with a bit on how the system boots and subsequent temperature, CPU speed and voltage. The motherboard was running in the test period an exemplary and fared quite well during the tests. Will you and you need the extra functionality like VROC and Thunderbolt extensions gives, so is this motherboard definitely worth the money.

Innovation/Technology - 5
ASUS has put in an extra effort in order to squeeze as much as possible of the latest technology into this PRIME motherboard. And there has not been spared here. Thunderbolt, VROC and extra fanhub and even a mini OLED screen. So you can hardly expect much more features.

Bundle/Accessories - 5
There are also not spared in the great bundle that comes with this PRIME motherboard. Extra temperature sensors and additional Thunderbolt cards as well as an additional fan hub print. In addition, there are of course all the wires you could possibly be missing on purchases, for example. LED stripes.

Design/Layout - 5
I am pretty mad about the design while not black all the way. The aluminium coloured coolers and the white plastic caps fits nicely with the rest of the design.

Software/BIOS - 4
The software package is very fine and can satisfy both the Gamer and the Enthusiast. The BIOS you can´t put a finger on, it is logically arranged and easy to navigate.

Performance - 5
Performance is generally seen actually the best I have seen yet on the X299 platform, only surpassed by MSI in some of the tests.

Price - 4
I find the price extremely reasonable price at around the 3.3 K DKK, and it must of course be seen in the light of that with this ASUS PRIME X299-DELUXE actually gets quite a few DELUXE functionality, not least in the form of Thunderbolt option card and extra fan hub as well as a lot of delicious features in the form of the latest technologies both to RAID and U 2 and M 2 and, not least, the small OLED screen.
