Test: Fantech MVP-861 Gaming Combo Kit

Konklusion:

Jeg har kørt med dette sæt en uges tid, og er meget splittet som I nok fornemmer på den måde jeg har skrevet på igennem artiklen.

Jeg har mest af alt lyst til at bedømme disse to produkter separat, da jeg mener de hører til i hver sin verden.

Tastaturet der følger med dette sæt, er faktisk meget fedt. Det har nogle gode anerkendte kontakter, og standard layout til trods for at det er engelsk det jeg har modtaget. Der er mange ekstra funktioner på knapperne, så man hurtigt lige kan justere lys eller starte et program hvis man har behovet for det. Softwaren der følger med, er nogenlunde overskuelig, og den giver mulighed for at programmere macro funktioner.

Musen er til gengæld lidt noget skrammel. Driveren er noget skidt, kablet er stift og lyset er lavet alt for dårligt. Musen til dette sæt er alt det tastaturet ikke er. Det er synd, at Fantech har valgt at parre netop disse to produkter i en såkaldt gaming pakke. For denne mus er bestemt ikke gearet til gaming på nogen måde. Ikke nok med det, så mangler den knapper til tommelfingeren, hvilket man ofte bruger til forskellige ting i spil samt når man sidder og surfer på nettet.

Med en pris på lige under 700 DKK, kan man jo vælge at købe dette sæt udelukkende for tastaturet, og så smide musen ud. Man giver ofte det samme eller mere for et godt mekanisk tastatur, så det vil nok være min anbefaling hvis man overvejer dette sæt.
 

Innovation/Teknologi - 4
Tanken bag sættet er ret god. Tastaturet stjæler spotlyset, og er faktisk ret godt. Det tilbyder RGB lys og programmerbare taster. Der er rigeligt med funktioner på taster i form af Fn funktioner, så man kan i teorien helt undgå at skulle i driveren for at justere lys og lyd.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 2
Der kan ikke prales af ekstra tilbehør til dette sæt. Jeg savner en støtte til håndleddet, så man lige kan hvile hænderne imens man skriver.

Software - 2
Fantech kunne godt have lavet en samlet software til deres produkter, så man slap for at skulle installere flere pakker. Ikke nok med det, så tyder det på at pakkerne ikke er helt kompatible med hinanden. Det er noget rod.

Design/Layout - 4
Designet af tastaturet er lækkert, og det virker som om det er lavet i god kvalitet. Helt modsat har vi musen, som virker billig og ret ubrugelig når man snakker gaming.

Ydelse - 3
Tastaturet er godt, og der er brugt nogle gode kontakter i sættet. Musen er noget skidt, den kan bruges, men jeg vil ikke anbefale den til gaming. Driverne er også noget rod, men tastatur driveren virker klart bedre end driveren til musen.

Pris - 4
Prisen for sættet kan godt forsvares. Det hele løftes udelukkende af tastaturet, som faktisk er ret godt til prisen.

I've been using this set for a week's time and are very divided as you probably sense the way I've written through the article.

Most of all, I would have liked to judge these two products separately, as I think they do not belong in the same world.

The keyboard included with this set is actually very cool. It has some well-recognized contacts, and standard layout despite the fact that it is one with English layout that I have received. There are many additional features on the buttons, so you can quickly adjust light or start a program if you need it. The software included is fairly clear and it allows for programming macro functions.

The mouse, on the other hand, is a bit scary. The driver is bad, the cable is rigid and the light is made too bad. The mouse for this set is all that keyboard is not. It's a shame that Fantech has chosen to pair these two products in a so-called gaming package. Because this mouse is definitely not geared to gaming in any way. It's not enough, it's missing the thumbs buttons, which you often use for different things in play as well as when you're browsing the web.

With a price of just under 700 DKK, you can choose to buy this set for the keyboard only, and then throw the mouse away. You often give the same or more for a good mechanical keyboard, so it will be my recommendation if you consider this set.
 

Innovation/Technology - 4
The thought behind the set is quite good. The keyboard steals the spotlight and is actually quite good. It offers RGB light and programmable keys. There are ample functions on keys in the form of Fn features, so you can completely avoid the driver in order to adjust light and sound.

Bundle/Accessories - 2
There are no additional accessories for this set. I miss support for the wrist so you can rest your hands while writing.

Software - 2
Fantech could have made a complete software package for their products, so you do not have to go to install several packages. Not only does it indicate that the packages are incompatible with each other. It's a mess.

Design/Layout - 4
The design of the keyboard is delicious and it seems as if it was made in good quality. Quite the opposite we have the mouse, which seems cheap and quite useless when talking gaming.

Performance - 3
The keyboard is good and some good contacts have been used in the set. The mouse is bad, it can be used, but I would not recommend it to gaming. The drivers are also messy, but the keyboard driver seems clearly better than the driver of the mouse.

Price - 4
The price of the set can be well-defended. It all is lifted exclusively by the keyboard, which is actually quite good at the price.
