Der er ikke noget nyt i Pirate. Du får HDD skuffer og PSU-skjold. Alt sidder hvor man forventer det. m-ATX vinder frem, så X2 har et godt kort på hånden med dette budget kabinet.

Budget eller ej, så skal der være en manual med. Det eneste der følger med er skruer til montering af bundkort og diske. Der er dog blevet plads til et par plastic strips.

Design - 4
Røde LED blæsere og masser af røgfarvet plexi glas ser altid godt ud. X2 har intet gjort forkert med Pirate. Det enste der halter er byggekvaliteten, hvilket er forventet i et budget kabinet.

Pris - 5
I skrivende stund er der ingen dansk pris på X2 Pirate. X2 oplyser en MSRP på 39,95 €. Omregnet til danske penge, er det små 300 kr. Og du får rigtig meget for pengene. Står du og mangler et m-ATX kabinet til små penge, så kan X2 Pirate sagtens anbefales.

UK summary

With the Pirate, X2 has managed to manufacture a budget chassis, with features we normally only sees in high-end chassis´. From a distance, the Pirate looks like a high-end chassis, but getting closer leaves no doubt. m-ATX gradually has the same features as ATX, so you can easily build a high-end gamer in the Pirate. The cooling options is good, and there´s amber space for the long graphic cards.

There´s nothing new in the Pirate. You get HDD bays and PSU-shiled. Everythings is where you expect it to be. m-ATX wins ahead, so X2 has good card on its hand with this budget chassis.

Bundle/Accessories - 2
Budget or not. There has to be a manual. The only things you get is screw for motherboad and HDD mounting. However, a few plastic strips has made to the accessory bag.

Design/Layout - 4
Red LED fans, and a lot of dark plexi glass allways looks god. X2 has done nothing wrong with the Pirate.The only thing that comes to mind, is the build quality, which is expected in a budget chassis.

As of writing there´s no danish price tag for the Pirate. X2 says the MSRP is 39,95 €. Converted to danish money, that is around 300 DKR. And you get a lot for the money. If you´re in the market for a m-ATX chasses, and the money is a issue, the X2 Pirate easily is recommended.
