The Kontron KT780/ATX does not come with any software, but that does not mean it is illegal to use AMD's own free tools, which can be quite useful, since we did not find any overclocking possibilities in the BIOS - we can find that in AMD Overdrive. We used this program during the test, so it is only fair to give you a small introduction to the program.

A clear view on what is inside the computer
Here it is possible to monitor CPU usage, speed and voltage and RAM speed, GPU speed, PCIe frequency, FSB frequency and Southbridge frequency
Here are all the voltage and temperatures
Here we have plenty to play around with. You can alter the frequency on each core individually. Why is that smart? Well, not all CPU's can overclock equally well, and it is the same thing with cores. Notice how the program shows the speed you are about to use, and the current speed.
There is also the possiblity of adjusting voltage, but since this card is brand new, it only supports adjusting of Vcore. On the image it is orange. If you adjust the Vcore a little lower, it becomes yellow, and if you increase it, it becomes sharp red, but if you adjust it to standard 1.3 volts, the colour disappears.
Here is all the RAM timings you could think of
A quick benchmark tells you if your adjustments had any impact
The stability test tests (funny enough) if the system is stable. It is possible to test in a large variety of areas.
Auto Clock automatically overclocks the system, in case you are not an experienced overclocker yet. It increases the frequency a little, then tests if it is stable and then increases it a bit more. Sadly this is not supported yet, but I am sure that is only a matter of time.
