Fin test, og som du selv skriver er det længe siden du har overclocket. Jeg har aldrig helt forstået hvorfor du ikke ville have de ekstra kræfter der ligger lige for og venter ganske gratis. Men som det er nu er det efterhånden blevet så nemt så alle kan gøre det. Nu var du ikke inde på de problemer som du tidligere selv har været inde på omkring lave minimum fps i spil og mikrostutter med flere gfx, det kunne jeg godt tænke mig at vide mere om. Nogle der ved om det stadig er gældende for x58 platformen.?

#2: Det er ganske korrekt at det giver lidt ekstra. "Problemet" har bare altid været (og er det stadig), at de indstillinger jeg spiller med i højere grad lægger pres på grafikkortene, hvorved at CPU ydelsen næsten udlignes uanset om man kører pr. standard clock el. med overclock, så for mit vedkommende betyder det bare en masse ekstra strøm og varme uden egentlig formål. Ja jeg er "simulator"-skadet, det ved jeg. 😉

Mht micro-stutter. Jeg fik det ikke med i artiklen, men jeg havde mine 2/3 GTX 470 på prøve i bundkortet og må desværre konstatere at micro-stutter er der endnu, men hvor voldsomt man oplever det er meget individuelt. Jeg sammenlignede med mine gamle FRAPS målinger og iforht. til de nye, og der var ca et 0.020ms sving imellem P6X58D-E og det MSI X58 Eclipse, jeg selv havde før. Dog virkede det ikke så slemt iforht. det Gigabyte et-eller-andet-UD5 jeg startede ud med i 09... det nåede jeg aldrig at få en MS måling på.

Du har ingen problemer med mikrostutter i din amd maskine.? Og hvad med dit S 1156 setup hvordan var det med det.?

#4: P55 kører med intern PCI-E afvikling igennem CPU'en, så derfor er det ikke så markant - eller det er ihvertfald min påstand. MS stutter er ihvertfald næsten det halve målt på FRAPS iforht. X58.
Microstutter via NF980a chipsettet er yderst minimalt, og når opmålingen vises på en graf er den nær en lige linie.
