Havde selv 2 Sabertooth X58 bundkort som jeg død-og-pine ikke kunne få til at fungere med ACPI og sleep mode S3.

Prøvede med 2 forskellige CPU'er (980x og 965EE), 3 forskellige slags corsair RAM (2 af dem QVL) og med forskellige friske installationer af Win 7 x64 og alle tilgængelige BIOS versioner (selvfølgelig med nyeste drivers)

Med samme hardware oplevede jeg ingen problemer med Rampage II/III Extreme.

Kort sagt var mit problem med sleep at computeren låste og gik i OC-protection mode ved aktivering af sleep/slumre eller dvale/hybrid-dvale

synes det er værd at nævne sammen med denne anmeldelse da en del brugere med al sandsynlighed vil opleve samme problemer som jeg selv.

Personligt resulterede fejlen i jeg afleverede bundkortene ved sælger igen.

Synes ej heller det virker ret betrygende at kølerprofilerne kan skubbes frem og tilbage som nævnt i anmeldelsen.

Jeg forstår ikke rigtigt hvorfor ikke max. BCLK er testet ? Det er vel egentlig det som giver det bedste indblik i hvor godt bundkortet OC'er - hvor langt man kan gå med en given CPU er vel ikke særlig interessant, imo....

Med mindre at BLCK - 191 var det højeste "stabile" dette kort kan, men det synes jeg ikke rigtigt fremgår af testen.

Syntes ikke der var nogen form for knaget og braget fra mit kort.Kan heller ikke se at det er noget sjusk at du kan vippe med profilen.Måske den knirken og bragende lyd, du hørte er et tegn på kvalitet 😉
Jeg valgte kortet pga den omfattende test asus har lavet med kortet, og pga at der er proppet kvalitet komponenter i kortet. 😉

#4 - Der er mig bekendt ikke nogen firmaer som uvildigt kan teste sig selv, så hvad du egentlig kan bruge den test ASUS har lavet på deres egen kort til, ved jeg ikke...

#3: Der skal vel være en sammenhæng ml. hastighed med OC på multiplier/blck.
Jeg har en Ci7 920 C0 stepping til rådighed og over 1.45v-core så begynder den at blive varmere end jeg bryder mig om. Over 191 blck så var det ikke alle app's der bliv afviklet korrekt. 🙂 En gammel C0 er ikke en super OC'er som D0.

#4: Den tjener jo ikke sit formål hvis ikke den har ordentlig kontakt og så bliver varme afgivelsen heller ikke optimal.
Mht knagen og bragen... hvis min bil begyndte på det, så ville jeg mene den trængte til et seriøst eftersyn 😉
