Konklusion

Design/Layout - 3
Designet er ikke meget at snakke om. Intet fancy her.
Pris - 5

hereUK summary
I would never have bought a set like this, if it was not because i got to test them. I was impressed with the performance for such a low price. Exceleram is better known in Germany than in Denmark. Nerveless, if I was to compare them with ar known brand I would say they compare to Kingston Value Ram although I do not think there are other similar priced budget ram on the market with similar overclocking potential. I Managed to get them up to 2222 Mhz CL10 at 1.65V - that is a test passed in my book.

EP3001A are 2Gb sticks that are sold separately, and only need 1.5v for them to perform what they are sopposed to and more. They are ideal for those who want to build a low cost machine with lots of Ram. Exceleram are using the same Powerchip 128*8 chips as many high-end memory modules. The design is down to the bone, probably to make it affordable.
Design/Layout - 4
The design is not much to talk about. Nothing fancy here. They have 6 layer PCBs and are pretty thin. No Heat spreaders on them, and they look pretty much like cheap OEM modules.
Performance - 4
The performance is great compared to the price. After a few adjustments in the Bios, they could actually perform as good as the more expensive Ram on the market. We have tested 2x2GB on a P67 platform, and they pass with flying colors. If you like overclocking this is a great alternative to the known brands. It is hardly a shame if you should fry one by accident.
Pris - 5
The price for 1x2gb is around 150kr on the net. which i think is a good price. Which means you will use only 300kr for 4gb ram that will run a speeds beyond 2000MHz. Leaving you able to use your money on something more exiting like ie a bigger SSD when building a new machine.
