Test: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD7 TH

Konklusion

Gigabyte bundkortet her har næsten alt fra alle verdener. Så vil man absolut ikke gå på komprimis med noget som helst, så er bundkortet her bestemt en god kandidat. Man får en OC zone hvis man vil lege lidt, en strømforsyning der ikke giver op selv når der overclockes med LN2. Til spillefuglen er der mulighed for op til 4 grafikkort og et opgraderet lydkort. Til hverdagens udfordringer får man rigtig mange USB 3.0 porte, 2 Thunderbolt 2 porte. Og lad os ikke glemme at det er muligt at vandkøle bundkortet, hvis man skulle have lyst til det.

Bundkortet har bestemt det bedste fra alle verdener, og er man en entusiast der bare absolut skal have det bedste og vildeste, er netop dette bundkort et af de eneste der tilbyder dette.

Bundle/Accessories - 5
Kassen er totalt fyldt op, og jeg kan ikke finde noget som burde mangle i kassen. En OC Brace ville være ganske fint, men slet ikke nødvendigt, hvorfor jeg stadig giver et 5 tal her.

Design/Layout - 4
Det er klart at Gigabyte har lånt en masse fra deres Z87X-OC Force bundkort, for designet og layoutet er faktisk det samme, Gigabyte har blot smidt et par ekstra chips på. Men jeg synes ikke at have fået følelsen af at sidde med et Z87X-OC Force bundkort. Fokus er totalt flyttet fra overclock til hverdagsbrug, men det kan stadig bruges til det helt vilde overclock.

Software/BIOS - 5
Her kan du selv vælge hvilken BIOS du synes bedst om, den gamle eller den nye. Jeg synes helt bestemt bedst om den nye. Der er hurtig respons og alt fungerer bare rigtig godt. Vi får også et program med til at holde hele systemet opdateret.

Performance - 4
Generelt lægger bundkortet sig i den højere ende af skalaen, ofte helt i toppen.

Price - 3
Som skrevet i Design/Layout kategorien, så minder bundkortet her rigtig meget om Z87X-OC Force bundkortet, men det har fået en masse ekstra chips der også giver kortet en del ekstra funktioner. Z87X-UD7 TH koster cirka 350kr. mere end Z87X-OC Force bundkortet, hvilket jeg synes er en ganske fair pris når man kigger på de ekstra funktioner man også får med.

UK summary

The Gigabyte motherboard here hold the best of all worlds. So if you absolutely will not take the compromise, this board is definately a good candidate. You get a OC zone if you want to play around, a power supply that does not give up even when there be overclocked with LN2. For the gamer , it is possible for up to 4 graphics cards and an upgraded sound card. For everyday challenges do you get a lot of USB 3.0 ports, 2 Thunderbolt 2 ports. And let us not forget that it is possible to  water cool the motherboard, if you feel like it.

The motherboard has given the best of all worlds, and if you are an enthusiast who absolutely must have the best and wildest, precisely this motherboard is one of the only one that offers this.

Bundle/Accessories - 5
The box is totally filled up, and I can't find anything that ought to be lacking in the box. An OC Brace would be quite fine, but not at all necessary, why I still give a 5 here.

Design/Layout - 4
It is clear that Gigabyte has borrowed a lot from their Z87X-OC Force motherboard, for the design and layout is actually the same, Gigabyte has just thrown a couple of extra chips on. But I don't seem to have gotten the feeling of sitting with a Z87X-OC Force motherboard. Focus is totally moved from overclock for everyday use, but it can still be used for the totally wild overclock.

Software/BIOS - 5
Here you can even choose which BIOS you like the most, the old one or the new one. I definately like the new one most. There is rapid response and everything works just great. We also get a program to keep the whole system up to date.

Performance - 4
Generally the motherboard places itself i the higher end of the scale, often at the very top. 

Price - 3
As written in the Design/Layout category, the motherboard here really reminds of the Z87X-OC Force motherboard, but it has got a lot of extra chips that also gives the board  some extra features. Z87X-UD7 TH costs approximately 350kr. more than the Z87X-OC Force motherboard, which I think is a very fair price when you look at the extra features you get.
