Test: Asus A68HM PLUS bundkort

Konklusion

Det har været interessant at få et af disse helt små bundkort i hånden og at se hvad det egentlig kunne præstere. Jeg blev faktisk rimelig overrasket over hvor relativt godt det ydede både med en A8-7650K og en A10-7700K APU. Ret imponerende at de faktisk yder næsten ens på dette bundkort. Det er selvfølgelig ikke dette bundkort man skal vælge hvis der virkelig skal leges med seriøs overclock, men det følger pænt med langt hen ad vejen. Har man planer om et billigt APU setup uden mulighed for at overclocke selve GPU'en så er det dette bundkort man skal vælge.

Innovation/Teknologi -  3
Der er absolut intet i vejen med hverken innovation eller teknologien brugt til at producere dette bundkort, men det er heller ikke toppen af poppen vi her har at gøre med, for dybest set er det jo bare et opgraderet A58 chipsæt dette bundkort er udstyret med.

Bundle/Tilbehør - 3
Der er akkurat hvad man kan forvente til et bundkort af denne kaliber, hverken mere eller mindre.

Design/Layout - 4
Personligt kan jeg godt lide ASUS design som er helt i sort med hvid skrift og en enkelt guldfarvet køleprofil til chipsættet. Layoutet er nogenlunde fast og ganske som man vil forvente det efter M-ATX standarden dog er dette bundkort en anelse smallere end de fleste andre M-ATX bundkort. Alligevel er der blevet plads til det hele.

Software/BIOS - 3
Jeg er rigtigt glad for ASUS UEFI BIOS der gør det til en leg at justere og skrue på dette bundkort, bare lidt ærgerligt at se den begrænset lidt i forhold til at man ikke kan OC på APU'ens GPU. Softwaresiden er også helt fin og holdt i den kendte ASUS standard så alle kan installere og bruge den medfølgende software som også er lidt begrænset til dette bundkort. Også fint at se AI Suiten følge med til dette bundkort.

Ydelse - 4
Her blev jeg ærlig talt ret overrasket. Faktisk yder bundkortet rigtigt godt.

Pris - 4
Prisen for dette bundkort er helt suveræn, for man får et fint bundkort som yder imponerende og som samtidig har fået smidt et ikke helt ringe lydkort på. 4 SATA 6Gb stik og 4 USB 3.0 stik er vel i orden hvis man bare skal have sig en meget billig maskine som hvis man smider et potent grafikkort i også vil kunne gøre det som en habil casual gamer.


 

UK summary

It has been interesting to get one of these very small motherboard in your hand and see how it actually performs. I was actually really surprised how relatively well provided with both a A8-7650K and A10-7700K APU. Quite impressive that they actually provide nearly identical on this motherboard. It is obviously not this motherboard to choose if there really be playing with serious overclocking, but it follows nicely with great extent. If you have plans for a cheap APU setup without the ability to overclock the GPU so it is this motherboard to choose.

Innovation/Technology - 3
There is absolutely nothing wrong with either innovation or technology used to produce this motherboard, but it is not cream of the crop we are dealing with, because basically it is just an upgraded A58 chipset, this motherboard is equipped with.

Bundle/Accessories - 3
There is exactly what one would expect for a motherboard of this caliber, neither more nor less.

Design/Layout - 4
Personally, I like ASUS design that is completely in black with white lettering and a single gold heat sink for the chipset. The layout is fairly constant and, as one should expect the following M-ATX standard. However, this motherboard is slightly narrower than most other M-ATX motherboards. Still, there is room for it all.

Software/BIOS - 3
I am really happy with the ASUS UEFI BIOS, which makes it a breeze to adjust and tweak this motherboard, just a little sad to see the little limited compared to that you can not OC on the APU's GPU. Since the software is also quite fine and kept in the famous ASUS standard so anyone can install and use the included software which is also a bit limited for this motherboard. Also good to see AI Suite pace with this motherboard.

Performance - 4
Here I was frankly quite surprised. Actually the motherboard performs really well.

Price - 4
The price of this motherboard is quite great because you get a nice motherboard that provides impressive performance and which comes with a very good sound card. 4 SATA 6Gb ports and 4 USB 3.0 connector is probably okay if you just need at a very cheap machine as if you throw a potent graphics card will also be able to do it as an accomplished casual gamer.
