Test: Logitech MX5000 Laser

Konklusion

Efter at have arbejdet med MX5000 sættet i 14 dages tid, så må jeg sige, at det er et super sæt. Det ligger prismæssigt under diNovo, som jo er topmodellen. Men MX5000 må være sættet lige under. Og den klarer opgaven ganske godt.

Som nævnt i testen så er tastaturet super. Det er musen også, bortset fra mit problem med, at den kan give ondt i underarmen. Det er dog meget individuelt, og derudover så er musen en supermus. Der er med det medfølgende software mulighed for at sætte sættet op som man vil.

De mange muligheder for genvejstaster/mediaknapper er noget man hurtig vænner sig til. Samtidig er sættet designmæssigt meget flot, og pynter på ethvert skrivebord.

Derudover er ideen med anvendelse af Bluetooth meget god. Den medfølgende USB dongle, kan fungere om en Bluetooth hub, som man så kan tilslutte sine andre Bluetooth enheder. Dermed slipper man selvfølgelig også for en masse ledninger. Dette giver nogle plusser på innovationssiden.

Det eneste man måske godt kunne have tænkt lidt over, er at man kunne have valgt den nye G7 mus. Men det kan være det kommer, og ellers gør MX1000 musen det egentlig meget godt.

Der er ikke det store software bundle med. Der medfølger software til styring af MX5000 sættet, og derudover lidt forskellige mediaprogrammer. Altså ikke noget prangende, men dog så det dækker ens behov.

Prismæssigt ligger MX5000 sættet på omkring de 900-1000 kr. Det er lige lidt under diNovo sættet, så hvis man vil spare de 200-300 kr. kan man sagtens købe MX5000 sættet. Prisforskellen er dog ikke så stor, så rent umiddelbart vil det presse MX5000 lidt.

Men hvis man vil spare de ekstra penge, så skal det siges, at man helt sikkert bliver glad for Logitech MX5000 sættet.

Conclusion in english

Having used the MX5000 Desktop for 14 days I admit that this really is a super keyboard and mouse. Cheaper than the diNovo, the "bigbrother". But MX5000 is a fine runner up, performing very well.

As mentioned in the test, the keyboard is super! The MX1000 is also very good. The only problem I encountered was the problem with some pain in the arm, having used the mouse. But somehow I expected that, because I have used the mouse earlier. The problem is most likely an individual problem, so no worries. The software that comes with the Desktop MX5000 fullfils the purpose, allowing you to configure the MX5000 as you please.

The many shortcut buttons and mediabuttons are something you very easily get used to. Besides that, the design is very nice and it almost decorates every desktop.

Bluetooth as the name of choice is good. The USB dongle that comes with the set also functions as a Bluetooth hub, so you can also connect other Bluetooth devices to your computer. That means that you get rid of a lot of wires and chords. That makes a positive impression.

The only thing that puzzles my mind is why Logitech have not chosen the G7 mouse. Perhaps it is the G7 mouse in the future but for now the MX1000 does an excellent job.

The software bundle is almost non existing. The software that is delivered with the MX5000 is the software mentioned in the test. Mainly used for configuring and setting up the MX5000 but also some small mediaprograms. Not fancy but it works.
Priced in Denmark around 1000 kr. It is a little cheaper than the diNovo. So if you want to save the 200-300 kr. you can buy the MX5000. The little difference in price compared to the diNovo could put the MX5000 under pressure.

If you want to save the extra money compared to the diNovo the MX5000 gives you full value for money, and it will be the start of a long friendship.
