Test: AORUS X3 Plus V5

Konklusion
 

Det er med lidt blandede følelser, at jeg skal fælde dom over AORUS X3. På papiret havde den nemlig netop det, som jeg lidt savnede med GIGABYTES P34W, et mere markant design og en større satsning på gamere som målgruppe. Den leverer også et godt stykke hen af vejen, men der mangler lidt hvad angår byggekvalitet og software. 
 

Innovation/Teknologi - 5
Hardware der er blandt det nyeste og bedste man kan opdrive, masser af tilslutningsmuligheder, automatisk justeret tastaturbelysning og højopløselig IZGO-skærm sender os til tops. Touch-skærm har den ikke, men jeg synes alligevel et femtal er på sin plads. 

Bundle/Tilbehør - 4
Den lille USB-nøgle med drivere og nøglering, et års licens til Gamecaster samt en ekstra USB-lader indbygget i strømforsyningen giver lige et ekstra point. 

Design/Layout - 4
Jeg må være ærlig at sige, at jeg er vild med designet, der har noget kant og skiller sig ud. Desværre halter kvaliteten lidt, hvilket koster det sidst point.

Software - 3
Der er ikke overdrevet med mængden af medfølgende software, og det som følger med er rimelig relevant. Farvetemaet er dog ikke så velvalgt.

Ydelse - 4
Ydelsesmæssigt ligger AORUS X3 side om side med de direkte konkurrenter, så ligesom dem bliver det til et firetal for den gode ydelse.

Pris - 2
Omkring 20.000 gode danske kroner koster det at blive ejer af en AORUS X3. Til den pris får man en højt-ydende gamer bærbar i et kompakt og flot design, men hvor der desværre mangler lidt ekstra finish for at kunne retfærdiggøre denne høje pris, vi lander på et (lille) 2-tal.

UK summary

My feelings about this laptop are a bit mixed, as I write this summary of the AORUS X3. On paper it had everything the GIGABYTE P34W did not, a design with a bit of caracter and something to point out the gamers as the primary target group. To some extend it does fulfill my expectations, but in the end it lacks a bit when it comes to the build quality and the supplied software.  
 

Innovation/Technology - 5
The X3 is equipped with some of the latest and best hardware on the market, loads of connections, automatically adjusted backlit keyboard and a high resolution IZGO display which gets us all the way to the top of the scale. It doesnt have a touch screen, but I do think a grade of five is in order anyway. 

Bundle/Accessories - 4
The cool little USB drive, a years premium license for Gamecaster and power supply with a built in USB charger is worth a bit extra. 

Design/Layout - 4
I really must say that I absolutely love the looks of this laptop, because of the fact that it has some character and really stands out from the crowd. The quality is on the other hand a bit lacking which is the deciding factor against the top grade. 

Software - 3
AORUS have not overdone the amount, and put in a few pieces of relevant software. The colour scheme in the programs supplied is however not the best.

Performance - 4
The performance is on par with its closest competitors, and hence the grade must also be a four for a solid performance.

Price - 2
It will set you back around 20.000 DKK to make the AORUS X3 yours. For that you get a high performance gaming laptop with a compact and great looking design, but lacking the extra finish necessary to justify this pricetag. In the end it (just) makes it to a grade of two.
