Kassens indhold



Ud over naturligvis at indeholde en SD36G5M barebone, er der lagt et par småting i kassen. Det er, som vanligt med Shuttle, ikke nogen overdådig fest hvad angår tilbehøret. Det eneste ophidsende er en lille grå klud til at pudse den spejlbehandlede overflade på fronten, og ellers er det blot et par ekstra kabler, driver CD'er til både 32 og 64bit, og manualer.



Den ret beskedne bundle skyldes til dels at der i sagens natur jo ikke er plads til ret meget ekstra i en barebone, og at de fleste kabler man normalt ville finde i en bundle allerede er trukket inde i maskinen.

Angående VIIV:
Som jeg har forstået det er bonussen for brugeren at VIIV skulle give et langt lavere strømforbrug samt en tænd/sluk tid på ~1 sekund, men det er måske ikke rigtigt eller ? Hvad oplevede du da du testede den?

#1 det er rigtigt at VIIV driverne skal afhjælpe MediaCenters opstartstid fra StandBy til on, men da jeg kun havde en 520 model CPU til rådighed har jeg ikke kunnet teste den del. Men det er da også lidt lidt at hænge et koncept op på at man nu kan få maskinen til at starte hurtigere, og ud over det er der ingen forskel på et VIIV og et ikke-VIIV system andet end et klistermærke.
