MSI's kendte FROZR køling har også fundet vej til dette bundkort da Gen 4.0 PCIe stiller større krav til kølingen af bundkortet. Som MSI skriver det så skal det tilfredsstille både gamers og entusiaster.
Her ses et billede i eksploderet view af hele kølesystemet på bundkortet. Selv over den lange af VRM kølerne er der monteret et aluminiums skjold som også bidrager yderligere til en god køling.
Ud over at chipsættets køleprofil er ret stor så er der samtidig tænkt på køling til M.2 SSD'erne i M.2 soklerne, der dirigeres luft hen under den når blæseren er i drift.
Kølerprofilerne på M.2 SSD'erne forhindrer throttling ved for høj temperatur på SSD'erne.
Selve blæseren til chipsættet er forsynet med mange fine finesser som alsammen skal forbedre airflowet. Bladene har en runding som giver mere airflow, Blæseren er forsynet med et kugleleje som garanterer 50000 timers operation. Bladene har en afrundet kant som giver mindre vindstøj. Kanten har et buet design som forstørrer vinklen på airflowet. Bladene er glasbelagte for at give mindre modstand. Bladene har nogle riller som forbedrer airflowet i blæseren.
Der er rigtigt mange blæserheadere til kabinetkølere og derudover en header til CPU og Pumpe. Der er 7 sensorer som gør det muligt at overvåge mange steder på bundkortet.
Blæserne kan man styre enten fra BIOS eller via Dragoncenter softwaren.
MSI's chipsæt blæser kan justeres til 3 forskellige modes: boost, balance og silence. Bundkortet kan styre det selv afhængigt af hvad man bruger PC'en til og herover er der 3 eksempler.
