What is inside 3 big boxes and a small one for graphics card? One big graphic solution that achieved an award this year for best invention.

The name is AMD Eyefinity - and this is a complete solution with 3 monitors.

AMD Eyefinity is a graphic solution from AMD that gives you the opportunity to spend x number of monitors for one big screen. Most the people does only have a single monitor for the computer, which uses for both movies, videogames and work. The professionels might use a couple or 3 monitors at work, but you have the possibility to use up to 6 monitors driven by only one huge HD5870 graphics card. You can get a complete monitor wall at a 63 megapixel resolution. I have to say that AMD Eyefinity is one of kind - what a nice experience. This feature is not a performance minded feature as usually but a description of the experience of using it.
 

November 17, 2010 AMD was honored to achieve one of the worlds most prestigious awards. The Popular Science 2010s "Best of What''s New Award" for this specific graphic card - the Radeon HD5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition. An honorful price that has been awarded through out the last 23 years has been giving for inventions that surprises the audience and shows the world what is possible in the future.

AMD is the one producing this AMD Eyefinity and it is one of the veterans in the hardware word. They started producing CPUs and chipset for motherboards. ATI was found in 1985, but AMD bought them in 2006, which makes them the 3rd largest chip producer for graphics card and the 2nd largest CPU producer.

AMD is the main character of the marked for DirectX-11 compatible graphics card and got around 90 % of the marked. After the launch of the new HD6000-serie October 2010 they decided to skip the ATI name and just stick to AMD, which they also did on the Eyefinity solution.

The computer is done, the Eyefinity setup is running and Windows is running.
