ATi har frigivet deres Crossfire og ars technica har et resume af de forskellige reviews:
In all, it looks like the first round of Crossfire implementations have some feature and performance drawbacks that make reviewers hesitant to recommend the technology just yet. For instance, Crossfire gives users less control over load balancing methods and application profiles than SLI, and the Crossfire chipset itself has some I/O performance problems. The Crossfire also doesn't beat SLI where it counts: in the benchmarks. The benchmarks I saw showed the Crossfire set-up performing admirably, but if you really want to do dual-GPUs right NVIDIA is still the way to go. Finally, Crossfire currently sports an annoying 60Hz refresh rate/1600x1200 max. resolution limitation that's going to be a deal-breaker for a lot of hardcore gamers. The whole point of going dual-GPU is so that you can have both insanely high frame rates and insanely high resolutions, so Crossfire's resolution limitation is a major drawback.
